EVK Management System Consultancy is a dedicated freelance service, focusing on ISO standards and competence management systems for small businesses. We aim to make management systems relevant and relatable, working with all levels of the organisation to bring value and improvements
I understand that often small businesses are not rich in labour resource, and that each member of your team is spinning many plates..
With a wealth of experience in creating and maintaining management systems, I strive to bridge the gap between ISO standard requirements and the available resources of the business.

I will conduct gap analysis of your existing system

I will document a clear system structure, and I will create missing top-level documentation, from policies and system manual to core procedures, ensuring coverage of relevant standards. I will also create necessary operational level procedures and work instructions.

I will use simple everyday language, not standard jargon and basic MS Office tools without the need to buy specialised software

I will document your internal audit schedule and conduct internal audits, if no internal auditors are available

I will assist with your management reviews

I will document your statutory commitments and update your legislation register

I will assist with creating your Aspects and Impacts documents and Environmental Permit requirement training

I will assist with your business continuity document and your risk register

I will train system elements out to your staff at the appropriate level

I will ensure your system (ISO9001, 14001 or 45001) is ready to implement, including Stage 1 external assessment by a UKAS accredited body

I will work with Top Management to bring system principles into the business practices, and I will work with all levels of your organisation to make sure any document is relevant and understood

I will not issue a certificate as I am not an accredited certification body

I will not create a 'tick-box' system - systems I create are tailored to the business and meaningful to its activities

I will not create a document for the sake of it. If it doesn't add value, then I shall not create it

I will not use jargon. Where necessary, I shall ensure ISO standard concepts are explained in simple language and applicable to the staff roles

I will not leave you to struggle alone after certification. I will support your system as long as you need, once certified
